I purchased Minolta Dimage Multi a few years ago and the first version B&H shipped me was flawed.

The effect is subtle - look in the upper left corner (against the sky) and you'll see a blue streak. I sent the scanner back and the replacement was fine. When I was packing it up to send back, I popped the replaceable light bulb assembly out to take a look - sure enough there was a big black spot on it.
