Engineer or postdoc in QKD security certification in Shanghai

CAS Quantum Net and University of Science and Technology of China (Shanghai branch) are seeking a full-time researcher to work on a range of experimental projects in security testing and certification of QKD. You will work primarily in Quantum Net, in close cooperation with the academic research groups of Profs. Feihu Xu, Vadim Makarov and Qiang Zhang. You will have the opportunity to work with both academia and industry. Your primary workplace will be in Shanghai and you will spend up to two months per year visiting the Russian Quantum Center in Moscow. A successful candidate will have either a PhD or a strong MSc in a related field of optics, physics, etc. Having research experience in quantum information and fluent Chinese are strong advantages.

The initial appointment is for 2-3 years, with salary in RMB 20k-30k/mo range. An extension may thereafter be considered.
